எழுத்தாளன், நடிகன், பாடகன், பகுத்தறிவாளன், பத்மஸ்ரீ !
பட்டதாரி, ஆயினும்
நிரந்தர கல்லூரி மாணவன்
வஞ்சமில்லா, வயதில்லா இளைஞ்சன்,
உண்மை கலைஞ்சன்...
சிரிக்க வைத்த நடிப்பு
சிந்திக்க வைத்த வசனம்
இழப்பை ஊன்றுகோலாக்கும் மன உறுதி...
மகனுக்காக, மண்ணுக்காக
மழைக்காக,
வரும் காலத்திற்க்காக
கலாம் எனும் மஹாத்மாவிற்காக...
நட்ட மரங்களில் ஒரு அரசமரமாய் நீ வாழ்வாய்
இட்ட நல் வித்துக்கள் நிழல் தரும் காலம் வரை !
அறுபது மனிதனுக்கு ஒரு ஜென்மத்தில் அரை ஆயுள்
மிச்சம் அறுபது வாழ்வாய் நீ பசுமையோடு, பச்சைமரங்களோடு !
