Lamps made of clay from Earth; Available and belonging to one and all;
Denoting equality and equanimity in celebration,
dispelling dark delusion of dissimilitude and discrimination;

Wick, made of cotton
the lightest and most ancient of natural fibres,
Available and affordable to all;

Denoting that to 'light' the lamp of knowledge within,
one needs to be 'light' and 'organic' within;

‘Sesame Oil’ born of enduring,
ancient ‘Seasamum’ plant,
the earliest of domesticated seed crop known to man.

The coming together of clay, wick and oil
The coming together of natures ancient gifts
denoting ‘honesty, humility harmony and holistic respect’
as virtues and values to hold...

Lighting the lamp of ‘self-knowledge’ that illuminates the soul from within;

‘Deepa- Aavali'- the 'Procession of Lamps'-
Let's light one each within and without;
stand together enlightened,
as one kind, one species, one nation, one planet, one Soul and as ‘Collective Consciousness’;

The day when Earth matches the beauty of a star lit sky
with Lamps of Enlightenment...
