Living 126 years in mortal form and immortal in the hearts of the generations to follow for over 5250 (3228 + 2022) years now, Krishna the eighth child of Devaki and Vasudeva was born on 19 July 3228 BCE into the Vrishni clan of Yadavas from Mathura (in present day Mathura district, Uttar Pradesh), the capital of the Yadavas. and lived until 3102 BCE.
Ordained to be brought up as a foster child of Nanda and Yashoda of Gokul, Krishna’s acts of balancing Dharma and cleansing Karma started with Putana and ended with his own clan.
Naughty as a child, lover as a lad, revered as God, benevolent as a friend, dutiful as a husband, strategist as a king, mediator as a relative, tactician as a warrior, guide as a charioteer, trusted as a counsel…
Protector of Dharma;
Liberator of the Soul !
Mortal as an Avtar,
Immortal as ‘Collective Consciousness’...

Krishna, the Dark Matter that fills the universe,
that which is omnipresent but not seen;
that which contains everything
that which is contained in everything….
Eternal and with a purpose, as every atom of this s creation.
Krishna Janmashtami also known as Krishnashtami, Saatam Aatham, Gokulashtami, Ashtami Rohini, Srikrishna Jayanti, Sree Jayanti or sometimes simply as Janmashtami;
the annual celebration of the birth of the Krishna, the eigth Avtar of Vishnu, the Sustainer among the Holy Trinity.
The festival is celebrated on the eighth day (Ashtami) of the Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) in the month of Shraavana (August–September)
