Japa Kusuma Saṅkāśaṁ
Kāśyapeyaṁ Mahādyutim
Tamoharaṁ Sarvapāpaghnaṁ
Praṇato’smi Divākaram
“I bow down to the Sun, who shines with the brilliance of the hibiscus flower, who is the son of Sage Kashyapa, who is of great radiance, the dispeller of darkness, and the destroyer of all sins.”
